A message from the NSCF-NC President:

Shipmates,
Welcome to the Navy Supply Corps Foundation – Newport Chapter (NSCF-RI) Website!  As a subsidiary of the Navy Supply Corps Foundation, NSCF-RI is a non-profit professional and social organization whose purpose is to engage its members in professional development, community involvement, charitable endeavors, and social interaction.  NSCF-NC will offer benevolence in the community, strengthening the ties between the association and local communities. In so doing, the association strives to promote “esprit de corps” and camaraderie among and between Supply Corps professionals within the New England regional area.

Our annual major events include the Supply Corps Birthday Ball and annual Golf Tournament.   So, if you are active duty, reserve, retired, or simply a fan of the Supply Corps, I encourage you to check out the next upcoming event and get involved with NSCF-NC.  It is a great way to have fun, network, and support worthy causes.

I look forward to seeing you there!

LCDR Rob Allen

NSCF helps to restore the USS MASSACHSETTS

The Newport Chapter of NSCF and the Navy Supply Corps have teamed with the USS Massachusetts to help revitalize two supply spaces on the ship. The aim is to enhance the overall experience of the visitor while providing an opportunity to expand the Supply Departments role aboard the ship as an educational tool for the school house. The designated spaces are to be set up as general store rooms. They are located next to the Post Office exhibit and in the main passageway on board the USS Massachusetts.

The mission of supporting the USS Massachusetts is two-fold. First to support the USS Massachusetts in order to preserve the tradition and heritage of the US Navy, and second to incorporate the past with the present aimed at educating the students at the Navy Supply Corps School on afloat procedures to include informing the general public of supply processes

The NSCF is proud to be involved in this effort.
